Nevada’s Possible 6 Online Poker Rooms

It is suggested that by the end of 2014 the state of Nevada will be home to six online poker networks. There are currently 3 active networks now in the Nevada market place for online players. The frontrunner is WSOP.com which opened last fall and built a large following taking the lead from Ultimate Poker.

Ultimate Poker was the first regulated online poker room back in April 2013. They have a healthy player base but seem to be stagnating. The third player in this market space is Real Gaming who has failed to attract much business so far.

The next player that could be into the space is 888’s All American Poker Network which Wynn announced they would partner with at one point, buts it is unclear what’s going on with that since Wynn’s recent strategy shift.

One heavy hitter looking to enter the US online poker market is Giant Party/Bwin which is working in cooperation with Partners Boyd and MGM. With its success in New Jersey from its Party/Borgata network, it’s just a matter of time before they enter the Vegas market.

It is being tossed around the industry that perhaps Vegas can really only support one flourishing poker network, but we will have to wait and see.
